JOB SUMMARY:
The Order Picker Lead role is expected to motivate, communicate, and drive teammates towards achieving D.C. Outbound Operations daily mission: To ship every order complete, on-time and error-free, resulting in fulfilling our Company vision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (includes other duties as required):
- D.C. Outbound Operations expects an Order Picker Lead to be self-motivated and require little supervision.
- Exhibit a unique charisma to stimulate teammates to be high performers.
- Ensure all Pick orders are shipped in a timely manner and shipped correctly.
- Communicate with direct supervisor on all issues as they arise.
- Become fluent with Lucas engage system.
- Cross train in Outbound Operations including (Audit, Confirmation, Induction, Shipping Office).
- Direct Employees throughout the shift within the pick module.
- Become fluent in the Lucas Voice Picking system to understand and explain all commands.
- Communicate throughout the day with Inventory Control regarding orders with missing stock.
- May be required to work different shifts depending on the need of the business.
- Stay until all orders are confirmed.
- Verify with shipping office that all orders are completed prior to leaving.
- Other duties will be assigned from time to time either on a temporary or permanent basis which are deemed by the Supervisor/Lead to be consistent with the overall mission of Distribution Operations or the company in general.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

- High School diploma or GED.
- Lead experience is preferred.
- Must be safety conscious and follow procedures put in place for operating man-up equipment.
- Must possess computer skills and ability to learn warehouse computer programs.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Must show flexibility and willingness to work in other areas of the warehouse to support business operations as needed.
- Communication skills.
- Team player.
