Test Automation Practice Lead
Aureon Consulting is currently interviewing for an exciting full-time position that will involve establishing an automated testing practice from the ground up! We’re looking for a polished communicator with an established track record of success with software development and testing in the Life and Annuity industry. This role calls for a combination of leadership skills and the ability to roll up your sleeves from time to time, MUST be very strong technically in complicated technical space. This will not involve hiring our building out a team initially, so the ability to provide the vision and guidance along with executing the work will be paramount. The ideal candidate will have come up through the ranks as a software professional with expertise in developing and implementing automated testing solutions. Must have expertise collaborating with software developers and quality assurance (QA) teams to design and execute automated tests that verify the functionality and performance of software systems.

Knowledge of insurance processing and terminology preferred.
Technical
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and testing.
Must have experience establishing an automated testing practice from the ground up, to include hands on experience leading testing projects, working with automated testing tools, and mentoring junior team members.
Recent experience with Azure DevOps (within 1 year).
Be proficient in using test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, and Junit, Tricentis suite
Working knowledge of low-code, no-code automation solution tools: such as (Tricentis Tosca, Leapwork, others)
Experience with C#, Python, Ruby, PHP, JavaScript and other programming languages related to test automation
Must have led the creation of and standing up of a minimum of one test automation framework and solution
Experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, GIT, SQL Server
Strong understanding and ability to create and maintain complex test scripts.
Experience with Waterfall and Agile development methodologies and concepts
Understanding of DevOps as a practice.
Location(s) in in Preference Order – Candidates MUST BE in or willing to relocate to one of the cities below on day 1.
