Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to design, implement, and optimize automated systems that enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency within our operations. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- System Design and Development:
- Develop and implement automated systems for manufacturing, testing, and production workflows.
- Create detailed system designs, including hardware and software integration.
- Process Optimization:
- Analyze current processes and identify areas for automation to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics for automated systems.
- Installation and Maintenance:
- Oversee the installation, calibration, and commissioning of automation equipment.
- Ensure the ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of automated systems to minimize downtime.
- Software Development:
- Write and debug scripts or code for automated systems using programming languages such as Python, Java, C , or PLC programming.
- Collaborate on custom software solutions to meet project-specific needs.
- Collaboration and Training:
- Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to implement automation solutions.
- Provide training to staff on the use of automated systems and processes.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure automation systems comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments to guarantee system safety and reliability.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in automation, robotics, or controls engineering.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C , Java, or PLC programming (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens).
- Experience with industrial automation tools and technologies (e.g., SCADA, HMI, Robotics).
- Strong understanding of control systems, sensors, and actuators.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of machine learning and AI integration into automation.
- Familiarity with IoT technologies and Industry 4.0 concepts.
- Certifications in automation (e.g., Certified Automation Professional - CAP).

Starting Salary: $100,000 - $200,000
