What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) position at Aurora Hills Animal Hospital?

Aurora Hills Animal Hospital is a growing two doctor practice. We have moved into a brand new facility! We focus on high quality medicine and client communication. We practice diagnostic based medicine. We take our time with our clients and make sure we treat their pets like family.
We have ultrasound, radiology (dental and full body), in house lab and therapeutic laser. We offer acupuncture. We use mobile specialists in dentistry, surgery, radiology, cardiology, anesthesia, and internal medicine.
We are looking for a full time CVT to support the team. Client communication skills must be strong. Technical skills must be strong. Proficiency in anesthesia is a must. Proficiency in dentistry is desired, but we will train the right candidate. We are a computer based medical record practice so computer competency is needed.
The ideal candidate will be a self starter who takes pride in their work. The candidate will be able to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Any candidate who loves to utilize their skills will be a good addition! If you really enjoy working Saturdays we have bad news...we don't work on Saturdays! We all need a full weekend to ourselves in this field!
