As we expand our solar division, we are looking for a motivated and results-driven Solar Sales Representative to join our team.
Position Overview:
As a Solar Sales Representative, you will play a key role in promoting and selling solar energy systems to residential and commercial customers. You will be responsible for generating leads, meeting with potential clients, conducting consultations, and guiding them through the process of installing solar panels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Generation: Actively prospect new leads, network, and generate sales opportunities for solar installations.
- Consultative Sales Approach: Conduct in-home or virtual consultations with potential customers to assess their solar energy needs and present tailored solar solutions.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on solar energy products, services, industry trends, and government incentives to effectively educate and inform customers.
- Proposal Preparation: Work with the design team to create and present custom proposals and pricing based on the customer’s energy usage and needs.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and drive referrals.
- Contract Negotiation: Manage the sales process from initial contact to contract signing, ensuring a smooth transition to the installation team.
- Sales Reporting: Track and report sales activities, leads, and results using our CRM system.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in sales, with a preference for candidates with experience in the solar, renewable energy, or home improvement industries.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with a variety of clients.
- Sales Skills: Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals, with a strong understanding of sales processes and customer objections.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem Solving: Ability to assess customer needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems, email, and digital communication tools. Knowledge of solar energy software is a plus.
- Driver’s License & Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to client sites.
