Are you passionate about the outdoors, enjoy working with people, and thrive in fast-paced environments? As a Table Rock Attendant at Ausable Chasm, you’ll play a key role in creating a memorable and safe rafting and tubing experience for our visitors.
Your Role:
The Table Rock Attendant ensures customer safety, delivers excellent service, and provides essential support to the rafting program. This role includes preparing customers for their adventure, assisting with daily operations, and contributing to the overall success of the Adventure Program.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Preparation & Interaction:
- Greet customers warmly, ensuring they feel comfortable and excited about their adventure.
- Deliver safety briefings, including hazard warnings, proper use of equipment, and life jacket fittings.
- Assist guests in understanding river conditions and expectations for their tubing or rafting experience.
Operational Support:
- Perform daily setup and teardown of rafting/tubing equipment and operations.
- Conduct thorough safety checks on gear and facilities.
- Communicate effectively with guides, managers, and co-workers to maintain smooth operations.
- Adapt to changing conditions and workloads, providing assistance where needed in the Adventure Program.
Safety & Training:
- Remain current with safety protocols and skills relevant to the position.
- Attend regular safety and training sessions to ensure compliance and preparedness.
General Duties:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance for both yourself and the Table Rock area.
- Oversee large groups of customers throughout the day while managing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and enhance the guest experience.

- Strong communication skills and ability to deliver clear instructions to groups.
