As a Heavy Duty Truck Parts Clerk, is responsible for managing and maintaining parts inventory for heavy-duty trucks,ensuring that the necessary parts are available for repairs and maintenance. The job typically involves the following duties and responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Utilize your extensive experience (minimum 5 years) in Heavy Duty Parts, preferably covering all makes, to provide comprehensive support to our customers.
•  Demonstrate the "Never Say No" Philosophy by efficiently gathering information to locate and identify any required Heavy Duty Truck parts.
•  Perform regular stock checks and assist with annual inventory audits.
•  Track and update parts availability and order status in the inventory system. .
•  Receive, inspect, and verify incoming truck parts shipments.
•  Organize and store parts in the appropriate locations, ensuring easy access and proper labeling.
•  Assist technicians,mechanics and customers in identifying the correct parts for repairs and maintenance.
• Provide advice on parts and returns in a timely and effective manner.
• Prepare parts orders for shipping or pick up,ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts.
• Maintain accurate records of all parts transactions,including purchases,sales and returns.
• Update /maintain parts catalogs and databases.
• Inspect returned parts  for defects or damage and determine whether they can be restocked or returned to the supplier.
• Ensure all parts meet quality standards before they are issued to technicians or customers.
• Communicate with technicians,repair shops and customers to ensure parts are available when needed.

Qualifications:

•  Minimum 5 years of experience in Heavy Duty Parts, with a strong preference for comprehensive knowledge across all makes.
•  Proven ability to effectively source and identify Heavy Duty Truck parts.
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
•  Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with team members and management.
•  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
•  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs or more .
•  Pass physical drug screen. .
