Packaging Supervisor Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Packaging Supervisorfor a company based in Baytown, TX. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for supervising, organizing, and directing the day-to-day activities of the packaging department. This role involves managing staff and ensuring the timely and accurate handling of inventory. Pay Rate :
22.00 / hour. Schedule and Hours :
6 : 00 am – 6 : 00 pm Monday-Friday Packaging Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities :
- Maintain constant communication with managers, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the company.
- Communicate with customers to address inquiries and resolve issues.
- Supervise, hire, and train employees.
- Lead, motivate and support staff / warehouse team.
- Oversee materials and inventory, and distribution of goods.
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective inventory control systems.
- Monitor and maintain warehouse layout and organization.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Utilize warehouse management systems [WMS] to enhance efficiency.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and training.
