Are you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced production environment? Weโre looking for a Material Technician to support our manufacturing operations by keeping production running smoothly, accurately, and efficiently.
๐ผ What Youโll Do:
As a Material Technician, youโll work closely with shift supervisors, lead techs, and machine operators. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Move resin, fill hoppers
- Mixing materials accurately per work instructions and BOMs
- Cleaning canisters
- Maintaining a clean, organized workspace by following 5S standards
- Supporting operators with breaks and operational needs
๐ What You Bring:
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to read and understand technical documents and safety rules
- Math skills including fractions, decimals, and percentages
- Willingness to work extended hours, holidays, and swing shifts
- Valid forklift license (or willingness to obtain one)
- Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical tasks such as kneeling, crouching, climbing, etc.
- Familiarity with injection molding presses and auxiliary equipment a plus
- Previous experience with IQMS or similar ERP systems a plus
