Description:

Technical Consultant Oracle Performance Engineering is seeking a Senior Performance Test Engineer with over 5 years of IT experience to join as a contractor for a 3-month period. The role involves supporting performance testing of Oracle Cloud Order Management and Finance modules using OpenText LoadRunner Enterprise. The candidate will collaborate closely with the Performance Engineering Team Lead, project teams, and application development leads. Responsibilities include developing, debugging, executing, and maintaining performance test scripts and scenarios, performing various types of performance testing, and coordinating with the offshore team. The successful candidate must be capable of diagnosing and troubleshooting performance-related issues and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Skillset: Experience: 5 to 9 years of IT experience focused on Performance Test Engineering, including recent experience with LoadRunner tool. LoadRunner Expertise: Minimum of 5 years' experience in LoadRunner script creation and troubleshooting, with proficiency in creating and debugging complex LoadRunner scripts using Web (http/html), True Client Web, and Web Services protocols.

Programming Skills: Proficiency in writing custom code in LoadRunner to manage technical challenges using C or JavaScript programming languages. Performance Test Scenarios: Extensive experience in creating performance test scenarios in LoadRunner Enterprise and executing various types of performance tests. Monitoring and Analysis: Capable of monitoring backend systems and servers using APM tools and Splunk; proficient in identifying and debugging performance bottlenecks and conducting optimization efforts. Result Analysis: Expertise in analyzing performance test results and creating comprehensive performance test reports.

Methodologies: Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices. Oracle Cloud Modules: Preferably experienced in performance testing of Oracle Cloud - Order Management and Finance modules.

Data Management: Experience with data management tools (e.g., Toad or SQL Developer) and proficiency in writing SQL queries. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
