ABOUT THE ROLE
The Operations Tech Support role is responsible for the installation and breakdown of Billfold tablets/POS systems, assisting with inventory, update, and maintenance of equipment, and providing technical support to staff and guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Check all devices upon arrival for good working order, alerting Tech Lead if devices need repair or replacement
- Setup devices per instructions from Tech Lead
- Check WiFi and bluetooth to ensure connectivity is enabled
- Ensure wiring is in good working order
- Perform walkthroughs of the venue throughout the event to ensure machines are in good working order and troubleshoot, as necessary
- Provide technical support to staff and guests
- Shutdown devices at end of event, cleaning and properly storing them to charge
- Locate/create power solutions at all bars, secure power outlets under every bar to ensure all devices have power
DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent work experience
- AA degree in a technical field, a plus
- Highly motivated and able to work independently
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be willing to work long shifts, including overnight shifts
- Must be able to work standing for extended periods
- Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift 50 pounds
COMPENSATION Hourly rate for this position is $18-$25
