ABOUT THE ROLE

The Operations Tech Support role is responsible for the installation and breakdown of Billfold tablets / POS systems, assisting with inventory, update, and maintenance of equipment, and providing technical support to staff and guests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Check all devices upon arrival for good working order, alerting Tech Lead if devices need repair or replacement
  • Setup devices per instructions from Tech Lead
  • Check WiFi and bluetooth to ensure connectivity is enabled
  • Ensure wiring is in good working order
  • Perform walkthroughs of the venue throughout the event to ensure machines are in good working order and troubleshoot, as necessary
  • Provide technical support to staff and guests
  • Shutdown devices at end of event, cleaning and properly storing them to charge
  • Locate / create power solutions at all bars, secure power outlets under every bar to ensure all devices have power

    • DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma / GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent work experience
  • AA degree in a technical field, a plus
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently

    • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be willing to work long shifts, including overnight shifts
  • Must be able to work standing for extended periods
  • Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift 50 pounds

    • COMPENSATION Hourly rate for this position is $18-$25
