Position Summary:
The Project Accountant will be responsible for all bookkeeping, accounting and reporting functions of the development and managed properties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· A/P and A/R
· Account Reconciliations
· Budgeting and forecasting
· Monthly and yearly financial statement preparations
· Job Costing
· General ledger posting
· Financial regulatory reporting
· Tenant billing for managed properties
· Other duties and tasks as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personal Characteristics:
· Ability to work independently, set priorities and meet deadlines
· Detail oriented
· Strong analytical skills
· Proficiency in QuickBooks and Yardi preferred
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Minimum education preferred: 2-year degree
· Must be reliable and punctual
· Strong expertise with computer spreadsheets (Excel) and Microsoft and Office applications.
