Job Description: The RN/LPN Vent Unit Manager will oversee the daily operations of our ventilator unit, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations. This role involves managing a team of skilled nurses and support staff, coordinating patient care plans, and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the ventilator unit staff, including RNs, LPNs, and support personnel.
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility policies.
- Provide education and training to staff on ventilator care and management.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Address and resolve any patient or staff concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
- Current RN or LPN license in Ohio.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a ventilator unit or similar setting.
