Description
The Avery Coonley School is seeking creative, passionate teachers to facilitate an enriching experience for students pre-school to rising eighth grade. This teaching position is for our six-week Summer Program.
June 13- July 25, 2025
8 : 45 am - 12 : 15 pm
Flexible scheduling available
No Program on June 19, 2025 and July 4, 2025
Responsibilities :
- Plan, prepare, and present effective daily instruction for students.
- Develop curriculum for fun, hands-on, and creative classes
- Teach three 55-minute classes on different topics
- Maintain daily attendance
- Assist with transitions of students from class to class throughout the morning
- Share with parent / guardians general class overview
- Report any concerns to the Director of The Summer Program
- Provide a safe environment
- Supervise a Counselor Aide in the classroom
- No grades or assessments required during Summer Program

Salary : $2,300 - $3,500
