Description
Summary :
Responsible for the day to day operation and direct supervision of all activities within the Table Games department. Ensure daily operations and experiences meet guest expectations. Appropriately respond to and manage any escalated departmental concerns and guest and / or employee challenges.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
- Hire, train, develop, measure performance, discipline, and schedule department staff
- Lead the tactical execution of strategic initiatives under the direction of division leadership
- Establish standards of service within assigned department(s) and ensure achievement
- Monitor and control labor within the department while maintaining adequate coverage based on business demands
- Knowledge of and compliance with all departmental policies, service standards and Gaming regulations, as they pertain to Table Games.
- Knowledge of card counting techniques and cheating tells.
- Anticipate guest's needs, acknowledge and respond promptly to any and all requests.
- Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Assign stations and duties for all team members.
- Advise Director of any personnel or operational problems.
- Count table inventories and calculate win / loss at the end of shift.
- Responsible for card and dice security.
- Issue playing cards and dice and review them for irregularities at the beginning of shift as well as during shift
- Thorough knowledge of department operations and the laws / regulations governing them, including game security.
- Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members
- Performs other duties as assigned
