SUMMARY:
The Table Games Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing player, Dealer and Supervisor activity in the Table Games Pit while following all policies and procedures. These policies and procedures are in accordance with the Nevada Gaming Commission’s procedures and internal controls.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Reports directly to the Casino Manager
• Provides quality guest service and maintains a safe and friendly environment for guests
• Answers all company phone calls and keeps the Table Games Pit area clean
• Properly rewards players with the correct amount of earned comps
• Has knowledge of all of the games in the Table Games Pit including betting limits and game procedures
• Maintains a professional relationship with all departments
• Understands how to do and maintain fills, credits, tables cards, and ratings
• Resolves guest complaints in a timely manner
• Communicates the status of the Table Games performance effectively to the Casino Manager
• Supervises and trains Dealers in the operation and conduct of Table Games
• Assures Dealer and Supervisor performance is in accordance with the Eureka Employee Handbook and adheres to all departmental SOPs
• Attends meetings, fills out daily paperwork, and counsels/documents Dealers and Supervisors
• Properly maintains the gaming equipment, including shufflers, felts, etc.
• All other duties as assigned
