Aviben seeks a full time Client Service Representative who can provide a high level of service and support for our clients, vendor partners, and internal team members. Aviben is a third-party administrator and provider of group benefits, predominantly working with public sector employers.
The Client Service Representative is an important role in providing a great customer experience for our clients. A successful individual in this role must enjoy being in a service role and helping others.
Tasks of this job include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist in answering phone calls received for this department
- Answer questions and provide customer service for client via telephone and email
- Troubleshoot various issues as they arise
- Research questions and requests as needed
- Distribution of various reports on a daily basis
- Learn industry and product rules to assist in approval of paperwork
- Provide administrative support on projects or tasks as directed
Required Skills:
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to handle and follow up on phone calls and emails in a timely manner
Ability to multi-task and work on competing priorities
Intermediate experience with MS Office programs
Strong attention to detail
Good verbal and written communication skills
2 years previous experience in an professional office setting
Ability to work well in a team and desire to work in a fast-paced environment
Positive can do attitude
Preferred Skills:
Flexible and willing to embrace technology to try new solutions
Efficient in the use of your time
Fast learner
Knowledge of investment industry, preferably specific to 403(b) accounts and the rules that govern them (highly desired but not required)
