Position Overview: We are seeking a Production Technician is to assemble, test and package quality products in the Life Science Cartridge Assembly department according to drawings and specifications.

Key Job Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks involving the assembly of various sizes of water purification cartridges per work instructions, drawings and specifications.
- Operate equipment that bonds plastic component parts together such as a spin welder, heat welder or ultrasonic welder.
- Perform final testing on cartridges per work instructions
- Package products into bags and boxes and label as specified.
- Operate bag sealers during the packaging of final product.
- Perform cycle counts.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and hand jack.
- Perform tasks within ERP system involving the assembly and movement of products into and out of the department.
- Complete forms involving the requisition, completion, and routing of parts into and out of the department.
- Recognize and process non-conforming parts into Non-Con.
- Inform Supervisor and/or Coordinator of trends and/or larger issues regarding non-conformance parts.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work environment following the 5S standards.
- Assist other departments as necessary.
- Perform cycle counts as necessary.
- Use computer to enter labor hours.
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years related mechanical assembly experience.
