Purpose of Position:
Reporting to the Director of Global Marketing, the Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for understanding our core and emerging channels, their dealer network and end users.  This role will drive core strategies to expand our brand awareness, presence and mind share within each channel, along with developing a channel specific approach to product marketing, end user marketing, support, and development of the market. 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, communicate, implement, and manage a channel marketing strategies for our core and emerging channels (for example:  LE core and submarkets and dealers, country specific international markets, TW Ecommerce, partner ecommerce, Amazon, Fire and Rescue, specialty outdoor, roadside assistance, etc.
  • Provide strategic marketing plans to build and develop Team Wendy as the premier helmet brand within each channel. 
  • Maintain a pulse on each market segmented channel partner and identify trends to drive continued marketing and sales excellence across the organization.
  • Relationship building, along with the regional sales managers (RSM), to support the requirements of the customer in respective channels.
  • Own the lead management process: drive conversion, reporting dashboards on lead status on trade shows, marketing campaigns, etc.
  • Be an advocate for our channel and our dealers by communicating valuable information that can improve the partnership. (i.e. Current market conditions, current company conditions, opportunities, threats, trends, etc.)
  • Understanding of the dealer's core business and who they are selling to.  (Market share gain, positioning against competition, VOC data)
  • Understanding of the core end user groups and how product flows back through the dealer. (Best Product, Best Brand, Best Value-Add Partners (two-way street))
  • Work closely with Sales support function to drive channel programs such as co-op, growth rebates, etc. along with role and responsibility alignment for the channel. (RACI)
  • Overall strategy development of Team Wendy and dealer supported trade shows and events (strategy alignment with our key dealers).
  • Provide presentation assistance (pitch decks/tools) for internal TW and channel specific markets and customers.
  • Marketing plans for promoting planned events (shows, shoots, distributor & end user advisory council, sales meetings, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of various routes to markets and channels, with experience develop channel strategies and building strong channel presence.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams.
  • Demonstrated background as a proven Channel Manager or Marketing Manager.
  • Proven experience and understanding of Commercial channels and end-users.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams in delivering programs of change
  • Skilled in strategic business insight to strategy execution.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to structure and execute complex initiatives and strategic growth programs, leveraging a strong technical understanding of markets and products
  • Outstanding communications skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely present complex concepts and business solutions to senior leaders and cross-functional audiences
  • Strong marketing and channel knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Business or marketing degree, MBA preferred.

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Cleveland, OH is $100,000 to $125,000 annually.  The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc.
