Position Overview
The Branch Leader is responsible for managing branch operations, ensuring outstanding customer service, and driving sales growth. This role requires a proactive leader with strong problem-solving skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to inspire and guide a team. The ideal candidate will ensure operational excellence, foster a safety-first culture, and build lasting customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Sales Growth
- Ensure customers receive expert guidance, accurate order processing, and timely service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through exceptional service and strategic sales techniques.
- Oversee and assist with warehouse activities such as, receiving, storing, picking, shipping materials and inventory control
- Plan delivery logistics and obtain necessary documents to transport goods
Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and store upkeep to create a professional and organized environment.
- Conduct research to stay knowledgeable about AWISCO’s product offerings and industry trends.
- Inspect cylinders for defects and compliance with company and government regulations.
Safety & Compliance
- Lead by example in upholding AWISCO’s commitment to safety, ensuring all team members follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Promote a culture of open and proactive communication regarding safety and operational improvements.
Team Leadership & Development
- Foster a positive and high-performing work environment.
- Coach and mentor team members to develop their skills and enhance overall branch performance.
- Communicate company goals, policies, and best practices effectively across the team.
Additional Duties
- Adapt to changing priorities and business needs with enthusiasm and flexibility.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Customer Service Excellence – Ability to manage customer interactions with professionalism, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
