Job Summary: As an AWRS ASM, you will market the Alloy Wheel Repair Services to local car dealerships and body shops. Automotive Dealership Prospecting Experience is Required. Prior prospecting experience in this market is a plus, and a prior portfolio of auto dealership contacts moves to the front of the line.
Duties and Responsibilities: Administration and Financial ? Ability to plan and organize the week with site visits, and dealership meetings, Manage a team of Mobile Technicians and Delivery Drivers, and complete required administrative duties. Sales of AWRS Wheel Repairs to car dealerships and body shops.
? Ability to daily process invoices for each dealership and provide weekly projections of costs, outcomes, etc. ? Understands the service agreement to achieve the goals and expectations of the dealership. ? Effectively utilizes the Workflow process and ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
Project Management ? Committed to a disciplined, consistent, and of diligent execution of the Workflow process. ? Maintains effective and productive multi-site management of up to 30 dealerships. ? Demonstrate flexibility to situations that may change and the ability to make sound decisions when the process is challenged and in the best interest of all parties. ? High level of independence, problem-solving, and ownership of each dealership, but humble enough to ask for help from the Regional Sales Manager when needed.
Service Delivery ? Ensures that the service experience is delivered consistently throughout the Workflow process. ? Treats all within the dealership, and all staff members with courtesy, respect, and dignity. ? Evaluate best flow practices and identify issues in the Workflow process and solutions to fix them.
Client and Vendor Management ? Develop cohesive working relationships with the dealerships and all staff members. ? Maintains regular and consistent communication with the dealerships, and all staff members. ? Knows when to be present at the site and maintains a high level of visibility and approachability. ? Responds to dealer communication /needs with a sense of urgency, concern, and resolution. ? Understands what objectives are important to each dealership and ensures the entire team is focused on exceeding expectations. ? Capitalizes on opportunities to grow AWRS Wheel Repair business by building dealer loyalty and creating dealers who are promoters of the company.
Safety and Risk Management ? Understands and practices safety and security precautions and procedures within the dealership and with the Mobile Technicians.
Systems Process ? Demonstrates a high level of credibility when managing and making decisions regarding each vehicle throughout the process. ? Consistent daily review of the Workflow status of all vehicles (Damaged Rims).
Quality Control ? Responsible for assessing each car and ensuring quality wheel repairs have been completed to the dealer's satisfaction.
Requirements:Qualifications and Experience: ? High school diploma or equivalent and/or successful completion of a technical automotive school/program and at least 3 years of experience in the automotive industry. ? Experience as a Supervisor or Manager with an auto body repair, vendor repair, dealership, and used car inventory system. ? Must have a car for transportation to sites and must be able to drive a car, including a manual transmission. ? Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. ? For insurance purposes, must be at least 18 years of age and be able to pass a criminal background, MVR, and drug screen.
