Job Title : Data Center Managed Service Operator (2 positions - Onsite)
Location : Sunrise, FL
Position 1 shift : 2 : 00 PM -10.30 PM (M-F)
Position 2 shift : 10.00 PM to 6.30 AM (Weekends)
Job Summary :An on-site electrician will physically monitor the environment by conducting periodic patrols.
- Preventive Maintenance (PM)
- Malfunction Handling (MH)
- System Monitoring and Maintenance :
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Monitor systems (electricity, cooling, safety) 24 / 7 and respond immediately to faults.
- Fault Handling :
- Provide immediate response for each electromechanical system
- Facility Management :
- Maintain configuration control for power, cooling, and IT infrastructure.
- Supervise contractors and external maintenance teams during installations and upgrades.
- Change Management :
- Prepare infrastructure (e.g., cabling, cooling) for new installations and modifications.
- Safety and Compliance :
- Operational Framework :
- Works under the guidance of the facility's engineering and maintenance leadership.
- Adheres to the safety directives of the site s safety officer.
- Certified electrician license.
- Basic HVAC knowledge and skills.
- Service availability 24 / 7 for incident response.
- Basic computer skills (Office suite, operating systems).
- Serve as Level1 support for incidents in HVAC, water, and air systems.
- Serve as Level1 & Level 2 support for incidents in Electrical systems
- Strong service orientation, responsibility, independence, and a systems-oriented mindset.
Responsible for managing PM activities according to the company's PM plan in collaboration with subcontractors.
Electrical Incidents : Provide immediate response to incidents classified as L1 and L2.
HVAC Incidents : Provide immediate response to incidents classified as L1.
Responsibilities :
Ensure continuous, reliable operation of electromechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems per operational requirements.
Identify faults via monitoring systems, patrols, or IT staff reports.
Execute maintenance strategies, including daily inspections and adherence to manufacturer guidelines.
Oversee infrastructure changes, including quality assurance testing and approval processes.
Operate under site safety protocols, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
Reports directly to the Global Data Center Manager .
