2.) Monday - Friday, 10:30am - 7pm
Job Description:
Summary -
Utilizing the outreach script, the Patient Outreach Specialist contacts patients to assist in finding a new health insurance plan. This is a short term contract assignment supporting a time sensitive project expected to last approximately four (4) weeks.
Responsibilities:
• Ensures patients are contacted timely regarding their insurance coverage and provides options for their insurance transition
• Documents that the patient was contacted and the outcome, identifying if a call back is needed
• Promptly responds to messages and redirects as needed
• Other duties as assigned
Experience / Requirements:
• Strongly preferred: experience working in *** EPIC (EMR)
• Requires strong communication skills and phone etiquette
• Experience with TriZetto preferred
• Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality of all personal/health sensitive information.
• Insurance knowledge or experience communicating with patients strongly preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
