Key Responsibilities
Design Execution and Coordination:
Review mechanical designs for feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with project standards and codes;
Support clash detection and resolution of design conflicts, coordinating with BIM experts and sub-trades;
Provide technical assistance to ensure mechanical designs align with construction schedules and sequencing requirements.
Technical and Stakeholder Support:
Review drawings, specifications, and documents to identify potential mechanical design issues, escalating concerns to the Senior Manager, Mechanical Design;
Collaborate with estimators and sub-trades to obtain accurate quotes and ensure all mechanical components fit within project scope and budget;
Work closely with field teams to verify the implementation of mechanical designs and assist in identifying and mitigating risks during construction.
Quality Assurance and Post-Occupancy:
Conduct on-site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards;
Document and report any issues related to mechanical systems for resolution and improvement in future projects;
Assist in claims management related to mechanical installations and support training for field staff on quality assurance practices.
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
