Axios Professional Recruitment is partnered with a logistics firm seeking an experienced professional to provide overall direction and support within their Dedicated Fleet operations. This is a night- shift temporary position, expected to last 3 to 6 months. The ideal candidate will assist in managing operations and providing operational assistance to senior leadership as needed.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain positive relationships and communication with all drivers
- Communicate service issues to appropriate personnel and departments, both internal and external
- Perform load planning, driver scheduling, and dispatch duties using specialized software
- Coordinate daily data entry into the company’s transportation management system (TMS)
- Assist with coordinating weekly customer invoicing to ensure accuracy and timely completion
- Oversee and ensure the completion of daily and weekly tasks
- Work with the operations manager to schedule truck and trailer maintenance
- Collaborate with the safety department to address compliance and driver issues
- Assist in implementing safety, security, and labor policies
- Provide coverage in various departments during vacations or holidays
- Assist with driver payroll processing
- Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting (e.g., P&L, revenue share, load counts)
