Project Estimator

Axios Professional Recruitment is partnered with a Glass Manufacturing Company, a leader in high-end residential and commercial glass solutions, who is actively hiring a Commercial Project Estimator & Coordinator to join their Wyoming & Grandville, Michigan area office. This is a front-office-based position with exposure to both sales and production teams — ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and wants to grow with a company investing heavily in innovation and expansion.

Project Estimator & Coordinator Benefits:

• Competitive salary: $55k base – willing to negotiate for the right candidate
• Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Opportunity to support a $600K equipment investment and new product launch
• Exposure to a variety of departments: sales, production, customer service, shipping, and materials
• Structured training with plant floor shadowing in the first 60 days
• Dynamic, growth-focused team operating under the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS)

Project Estimator & Coordinator Responsibilities:

Tactical Responsibilities (Daily Execution):

• Generate accurate commercial glass quotes and manage order flow
• Engage with commercial glazing contractors and key accounts
• Coordinate job-site deliveries, returns, and sample shipments
• Track active jobs and top 15 customer accounts for updates and follow-ups
• Collaborate with production, shipping, and materials teams on capacity and inventory
• Provide technical glass data and warranty support
• Prepare and release job instructions into production
• Ensure accuracy and timely updates of internal records and documentation

Strategic Responsibilities (Big Picture Thinking):

• Participate in bi-weekly reporting and forecasting meetings
• Contribute to competitive analysis and future quarter quoting updates
• Assist in new product planning and vendor communications
• Manage the internal IG (Insulating Glass) sample library and customer samples
• Support marketing and sales efforts with data, materials, and visuals
• Stay up to date on glazing codes, safety standards, and warranty policies
• Participate in vendor training and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and architects

Project Estimator & Coordinator Qualifications:

To be considered for the Estimator & Coordinator role, applicants should:

• Have experience in project coordination, estimating, or commercial customer service
• Be familiar with construction or manufacturing environments (glass/CAD experience a plus!)
• Possess strong math, communication, and organizational skills
• Be tech-savvy, process-driven, and able to multitask across teams
• Demonstrate the ability to “Get it, Want it, and Have the Capacity” (GWC) to thrive in an EOS-driven company culture
