Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, managing budgets, and ensuring that projects are completed within financial constraints. This role requires a strong understanding of construction management and the ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and subcontractors.
Experience is desired but not required. Ownership has developed a very estimating process that can be shared and deployed with the right person.

Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment and overhead.
- Collaborate with company leaders to develop budgets and timelines.
- Analyze blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best pricing.
- Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle to ensure adherence to budget.
- Provide ongoing support during the bidding process and assist in contract negotiations.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and correspondence.
- Provide a weekly report to Leadership
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with construction management processes and terminology.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on cost control.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A background in construction or engineering is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $76,189.00 - $83,586.00 per year
