Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and oversee maintenance and repair tasks across multiple properties.
- Act as the primary point of contact for tenants reporting maintenance issues.
- Collaborate with property management team members and the Construction Manager to ensure tenant satisfaction and timely resolution of maintenance concerns.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with a network of vendors and contractors.
- Obtain and compare vendor quotes, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Coordinate routine property inspections to proactively identify and address potential issues.
- Maintain the maintenance request database to track completed repairs and pending tasks.
- Assist in evaluating budgets for upcoming property maintenance and repair projects.
- Participate actively in weekly team discussions on company KPIs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in renovation, repair, and maintenance work, preferably in a rental property or similar setting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with tenants, property managers, and fellow team members.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts to address urgent maintenance needs.
- Interest in facilities management, construction, or related fields.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
