Bookkeeper/Accounts Receivable

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to work with various accounting software.

Duties

• Process and record all incoming payments in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Manage accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain organized records of all transactions and communications related to accounts receivable.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or similar tools for efficient processing.

Experience

• Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar accounting role is preferred.
• Strong technical accounting skills, including knowledge of GAAP principles.
• Experience with account reconciliation processes is preferred.
• Proficiency in using accounting software (QuickBooks Online) is highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
