The SVP, Portfolio Manager will lead and oversee the Portfolio Management team, ensuring effective daily operations while driving innovation, compliance, and governance. This ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and executing strategic and operational initiatives with a strong focus on portfolio risk management. Responsibilities:
- Lead a high performing organization by engaging team members, setting expectations, holding teams accountable and recognizing great work
- Conduct strategic planning and implementation of medium to long term corporate strategies that effectively achieve the organization's goals and objectives via the operational and strategic initiatives
- Make recommendations to Senior Leadership related to the enhancement of the organization's risk management framework
- Analyze data, prepare monthly and quarterly reports for review. Manage ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred)
- 10 years of experience in commercial lending, credit portfolio management, or corporate banking
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, risk frameworks, and financial industry best practices
- Exceptional financial analysis, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in credit analysis tools, financial modeling, and banking software
