// Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy of orders.
- Record and update inventory in our MIS system, ensuring proper documentation for all goods.
- Notify Team Leaders and relevant parties about the receipt of items.
- Inspect incoming products for damage and ensure proper storage and organization.
- Coordinate shipping and logistics for outgoing orders, ensuring timely delivery.
- Respond to Account Manager inquiries regarding orders and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain the company’s fleet (including forklift, scissor lifts and trailers), ensuring regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs are conducted.
- Assist in general warehouse duties, including cleaning and maintaining Shipping & Receiving standards.
- Participate in cross-training within the team to ensure adequate coverage and smooth operations.
// Requirements:
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience with operating a forklift preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and basic logistics operations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages (up to [50lbs]).
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards customer service.
