Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative - Logistics serves as the primary point of contact for all internal and external customer communication at Partners Personnel. This role involves maintaining inbound and outbound schedules, processing paperwork, and preparing orders for distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide top-notch customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Maintain accurate inbound and outbound schedules.
- Complete and verify paperwork before order distribution.
- Process carrier appointments and communicate with customers regarding scheduling issues.
- Assign dock doors for shipments and maintain door accuracy.
- Manage yard reports and process shipping and receiving documentation.
- Reconcile inbound shipments with packing slips.
- Collaborate with shift management and team leads to achieve shift goals.
- Identify and report errors or issues.
- Participate in required training programs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in SAP software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with multitasking skills.
- Analytical skills for problem-solving.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience with AS400 and/or WMS preferred.
