About the role
This position requires the employee to provide administrative support for facility operations and other duties as assigned by the Office Manager.
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day operations of the office, including answer/directing calls, emails, and inquiries.
- Perform daily computer updates and complete daily paperwork.
- Maintain and organize files, records, and documents.
- Prepare and distribute reports, documents, and other necessary paperwork.
- Input and manager data using spreadsheets, databases, or other software.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Clean and maintain office area, attend weekly meetings, keep work area clean (inside and out).
- Will assist in the counting of physical inventory, if needed, may prepare parcels for mailing.
- Learn and understand supplier code details, product listings and descriptions.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed by supervisor that employee can safely perform.
Candidate requirements
- Must have the ability to work independently.
- Be proficient in the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Might be required to drive various vehicles to assist with tasks.
- Must have good customer service skills, effective communication skills, a positive attitude with a professional image to represent the company appropriately.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written directions.
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with both hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- You may also be required to sit and climb or balance.
- You must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds.
- Successful candidates must submit to post offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and have an acceptable 3-year Motor Vehicle Report as may be required by current company policy.
