Incumbent Supervisory Transportation Security Officer (STS Airport)
BOS Security is currently seeking applicants from existing personnel performing Supervisory Transportation Security Officer services at Sonoma County Airport (STS).

The Opportunity:
Advance your career as a Supervisory Transportation Security Officer (STSO) at Sonoma County Airport (STS). You'll mitigate threats against civil aviation and supervise TSOs and LTSOs in screening people, property, and cargo. You will make independent, security-based decisions using intelligence, critical thinking, experience, observation, and passenger engagement. Additionally, you will lead TSOs, manage workloads, and adjust priorities according to established guidelines and skill levels.
- Overseeing daily screening checkpoint and baggage operations, including equipment, personnel, and scheduling.
- Supervising security screening of persons and their baggage to ensure SOP compliance.
- Developing critical thinking skills for threat mitigation through identification and assessment.
- Operating screening equipment.
- Communicating with travelers and stakeholders, including pre-shift briefings.
- Preparing incident reports.
- Implementing updated security procedures.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Lead Transportation Security Officer (LTSO).
