What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at BACK to Health Clinic?
· Greet all patients and guests with a smile and friendly attitude
· Take an active interest in the treatment, wellness, and recovery of our patients.
· Answer multiple phone lines
· Schedule appointments
· Provide excellent customer service
· Collect, file, and scan patient information and vital documents
· Records requests
· Verify insurance benefits
· Perform essential billing and collection functions
· Post patient and insurance payments
· Encourage patients to stay on prescribed treatment plans
· Fax referral and authorization information to insurance companies and providers offices
· Make appointment remainder calls

Requirements: High school diploma, at least one year of chiropractic or medical office reception experience, familiarity with Microsoft Office programs, multi-line phone systems, fax, and copy machines, pay great attention to detail, and have excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
You must have a flexible schedule. This position will typically be 25-35 hours a week, with occasional overtime for vacation and sick coverage.
The perfect candidate will have excellent people skills, ability to multitask, clean appearance, a positive upbeat attitude, be teachable, have excellent attendance, and be capable of working well under pressure.
This position requires someone who is hard-working, dedicated, and willing to go above and beyond to ensure the growth of our clinic.
Clinic hours: Monday --Thursday 8:30 am to 6:30 pm, and Friday 8:30 am- 4:30 pm
You would be expected to be available to work all within clinic hours of operation. Evenings for this position are a must.
