What are the responsibilities and job description for the Catering Chef position at Badass catering?
Looking for a summer chef gig cooking for musicians and their crew! We are seeking an experienced chef that likes a little adventure. Must be able to enjoy cooking without standardized recipes. Early start and cooking through start of dinner service. Self starter and team player a must! Our kitchens are built outside. Must be comfortable cooking in an outside environment.
Responsibilities
- Participating in daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering and stock
- Working with all kitchen and Dining Room staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling.
- Coordinate catering services and banquet events, providing exceptional dining experiences.
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation in all dishes.
- Must have a positive attitude and be comfortable with change!
Qualifications
- Line Cooking/Catering a huge Plus!
- Culinary experience
- Menu planning
- OLCC Service Permit
- Driver's License
- Food Handler Certification
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
Shift:
- 10 hour shift
