The Material Manager will lead site supply chain long-term planning, and inventory & production control requirements at Sabine Pass LNG (SPLNG), demonstrating strong integration with production/sourcing teams and cross-functional stakeholders. As Material Manager you will work with Parts Center of Excellence, Contract Performance Manager (CPM), and cross functionally to achieve parts operational excellence at SPLNG.
As a Materials Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Contract Performance Manager (CPM) by contributing to on-time material procurement, managing order release timing, and following up on the parts procurement process from RFQ (Request For quotation) to Invoicing issuing to customer
- Defining the material requirements, on time order placement, inbound/outbound management for each maintenance event at SPLNG.
- Managing Mandatory Spare Parts in customer Inventory. Insuring safety stock levels are maintained and properly preserved with use SPLNG CMMS system to input/manage customer inventory
- Leading capacity requirements planning (CRP) processes by gathering & loading information into planning tools, analyzing data, and providing regular updates to CPM and customer
- Ensuring outage schedule and Planning schedules are synchronized – parts, tools, and equipment preparation for each outage
- Collaborating with Owner warehouse keeper in the preparation of Parts and tools necessary for a maintenance event, and the shipment of such material back to Owner warehouse after usage.
- Participating to Outage preparation process: provide a stock report 18 months before a Planned Maintenance event, supporting the requisition of parts for Planned Outage, monitor the arrival of parts, and update Owner about the stock replenishment status.
- Preparing required documentation for moving and transportation of parts and tools from manufacturing facilities or Authorized Repair Facilities or warehouse to site, and vice versa

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business or related areas, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 yrs of experience in material management, customer service, or operations within Oil & Gas or Energy industry.
- Experienced in Logistics, material management, warehouse management, operations.
- Knowledge of contractual agreements and familiarity with customer base.
- Proficiency in Oracle, ERP systems and excellent domain of Excel.
- Be proactive, responsible, and capable to manage an extensive portfolio
- Capable to balance customer/business needs and to prioritize accordingly.
- Ability to work at the Cheniere site which is located at the Sabine Pass LNG site.
- Must be able to lift 20-30 pounds, to climb ladders during outage preparation execution and closure.
