Overview:
The Meat Packer will be responsible for packing and preparing various cuts of meat for distribution for Baldor’s Golden Meat division. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be able to work efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities:
• Inspect and pack various cuts of meat according to customer orders.
• Ensure all meat is properly labeled and packaged for distribution.
• Operate machinery and equipment to prepare meat for packaging.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Properly weighing, labeling and naming each package of meat as instructed
• Learn the names and packaging required for cuts of meat
• Work as a team member and learn the skills to work at all areas in the meat packing area.
• Adhere to company Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points (HACCP) and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP).
