A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE MARKETING COORDINATOR:
As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, that may include researching sponsorship and donation requests from the community, supporting marketing requests from all lines of business, drafting social media and website content, researching trends in the industry and assisting with and attending BSNB events and promotions. Other assigned projects throughout the year may require you to take an idea, research it, discuss it with appropriate areas of the bank and make recommendations on how the bank should proceed.
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE MARKETING COORDINATOR
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or Graphic Design, or a minimum of five years' Marketing experience required; in the financial services industry preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Publisher, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress and Dreamweaver software preferred. Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing strategies required.
- Knowledge of planning, coordinating, and implementing special events and business promotions preferred.
- A high level of creativity is required, with demonstrated attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, coupled with strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a group or independently.
