Description
Role: This position is accountable for fulfilling a broad range of tasks connected to the safekeeping and bond accounting services BBOK provides to bank customers. The position also completes electronic banking processes and tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Safekeeping (75% of role)
- Reconcile data files received from safekeeping agents and process daily principal and interest payments
- Process bond sales, maturities and calls, and pledging maintenance on multiple platforms.
- Create an exceptional customer experience including resolving issues in a timely manner, providing excellent customer service, communicating professionally and promptly by email or phone, and providing information requested for audits.
- Assist with documentation management, including scanning and processing files based on record retention requirements.
- Learn and maintain knowledge of all safekeeping and bond accounting processes in order to provide backup support for any function as needed.
Electronic Banking (25% of role)
- Process electronic files in an accurately and timely fashion.
- Complete daily processes connected to transactions and reconciliation for the department efficiently and effectively.
- Create an exceptional customer experience including resolving issues in a timely manner, providing excellent customer service, and communicating professionally and promptly by email or phone.
General
- Required to be in compliance and audit requirements are followed with internal policy and/or federal rules and regulations with GLBA/Privacy, Information Security and BSA/AML, and NACHA Operating Rules as it relates to this position
- Other duties as assigned.
