General Overview of the position.
TITLE: The Receptionist this position is part-time every other weekend, every other Friday 3p-7p Saturday 9p-7p, Sunday 9a-7p, and 1 holiday in the winter and 1 holiday in the summer. The hours may change depending upon staffing need.

REPORTS TO: Executive Assistant Director & Assistant Director
PURPOSE OF YOUR JOB POSITION:
The purpose of your job position is to answer phone, monitor lobby area , greet visitors etc.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receptionist:
- Answers the phones and greets visitors at the front desk, monitor lobby area, screen visitors
Position Include :
- Assist with duties as directed, including typing, copying and faxing.
- Assure compliance with HIPAA standards in regards to resident and employee information.
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information-following all HIPAA Regulations.
- Operate the computer, phone and copier as needed.
- Works in Administration Work Room and Front Desk reception area.
- Sits, stands, bends, lifts, pushes, and moves intermittently during work hours.
- Is subject to frequent interruptions.
- Is involved with residents, family members, personnel, visitors, government agencies/personnel, medical personnel, etc., under all conditions/circumstances.
- Work hours may fluctuate during the Monday – Friday work week
- Experience in scheduling appointments.
- High School Education
- Must demonstrate sincere interest and concern for the well-being of the residents of Judson Meadows.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with the personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, medical personnel, and general public.
- Must be punctual and dependable.
- Must be neat in appearance.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
With or Without the Aid of Mechanical Devices
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day.
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
- Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetic that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
- Must function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
- Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.
- Must be able to relate and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times, hostile people within and outside of the facility.
- Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 15 per week
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
