About the position:
Barclay Hills is seeking a veterinary receptionist to add to our dedicated team.

Our veterinary receptionists should be ready to:
  • Provide excellent and expeditious client experience
  • Greet clients and respond to questions
  • Process incoming and outgoing pets
  • Handle payments and occasional cash
  • Ask for help and offer help to others.
  • Answer phone calls, which may involve answering questions, screening for service needs, and scheduling appointments
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and e-mail
  • Monitor client waiting area to ensure cleanliness
  • Document and maintain client information, service data and other pertinent information within business operations software.
  • Escalate complex matters to senior staff.
  • Be empathetic to our clients, coworkers, and yourself.
  • Grow as a professional and encourage the growth of others.
  • Be a part of monthly meetings to encourage open communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain a positive, supportive approach at all times, recognizing that remarkable results are achieved through teamwork and mutual respect.
  • Possess the confidence to own tasks and responsibilities to deliver positive outcomes.
  • Anticipate the needs of DVM staff, promoting efficiency and teamwork.
  • Enjoy yourself! If you're not having fun, you're doing it wrong.

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience.
