We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Carry out custodial duties across commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
- Maintain facilities by ensuring all areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
Skills
- Proficient in floor care techniques including buffing and waxing.
- Experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning environments is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean effectively and efficiently.
- Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures.
- Ability to perform basic facilities maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with residential painting is a plus but not required.

The cleaning is pre and post events. Some events run until midnight or start at 7 am. Must be willing to work early mornings and late evenings.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 40 per week
