Job Title: Patient Service Representative
The Patient Service Representative plays a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and operational efficiency by collaborating closely with practice physicians, managers, and support staff.
About the Role:
- Prepare for patient visits and triage practice calls to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Schedule patient appointments and perform routine administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A degree in a related field or a certificate in medical office administration.
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or background in general office administration.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Work Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
- Day Shift
- Full-Time, 40 Hours Per Week
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to routine inquiries in person and over the phone.
- Perform basic administrative functions such as copying, scanning, faxing, sorting, and distributing mail.
- Create and maintain accurate health record information, files, and organize as needed.
