We are working with a growing, well-respected litigation firm in the East Bay that is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join their expanding practice. This is a hybrid role that offers the opportunity to work on complex civil litigation matters, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in business, real estate, and trust litigation. The firm fosters a tight-knit, collaborative work environment while providing attorneys with the autonomy to manage their own cases. The annual minimum billable hours target is 1,600.
About the Role :
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of litigation experience, including case management and trial preparation. This role involves handling all aspects of litigation, from discovery and motion practice to depositions and court appearances. The caseload includes high-stakes disputes involving fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, class actions, trade secrets, data breaches, and intellectual property.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage cases independently and develop litigation strategy
- Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Take and defend depositions
- Argue motions in court and assist in trial preparation
- Work closely with clients, opposing counsel, and experts
- 5 years of litigation experience
