Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all paperwork is completed legibly and correct
- Billing out customers invoices.
- Enters all data from vendor invoices into inventory and applies parts to customer invoices
- Answering phone calls
- Review work orders of mechanics to ensure proper completion
- Negotiate parts and labor pricing on road call breakdowns
- Communicate and build relationships with vendors for delivery of parts
- Communicate with customers and provide updates based on completion times in the garage
- Fill out service work orders
- Enter Purchase Orders into Cetaris
- Schedule jobs for in house shop work
- Provide excellent customer service and respond in a timely manner
- Coordinate with Parts Department to acquire parts needed for units coming into garage for repairs
- Organize and arrange repairs with outside repair shops for drivers who break down on the road
- Track and ensure vehicle inspections are being completed before expiration
- Other duties as assigned
Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in a shop/garage
- Prior service writing experience preferred
- Strong computer and data entry skills a must
- Proven attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong written and oral interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and the ability to work as a team
- Fast Learner
- Contribute to a positive work environment
