The Plant Manager will oversee the general operations of the Barrett Petfood plant located in Little Falls, MN. Responsibility to manage the extrusion and packaging of dry kibble to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality are met in a co-manufacturing setting.

- Serves as the point of contact for work direction and issue resolution of the plant.
- Organizes, trains, and directs department managers.
- Provides constructive, timely and regular feedback sessions and guidance.
- Provides guidance to department managers to address immediate staff/production issues.
- Collaborates with Managers to coordinate operation throughout the plant and other departments in the facility.
- Regularly reports to Director of Manufacturing to collect, evaluate, analyze, and assess operation.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices including those related to safety and health.
- Develops and implements procedures and strategies to ensure a safe work environment.
- Develop staff and serve as an integral role in the trainee program.
- Participate in long range planning of equipment and facilities to meet plant capacity needs and strive toward a zero-waste environment.
