Position Summary
The Financial Planning and Analysis role is responsible in assisting the Accounting and Finance team with planning, forecasting and analyzing for multiple companies, based in Denver, CO, with the expectation of minor travel.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Analyze and monitor current and past trends in financial results and key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, inventory, operating metrics and capital expenditures.
- Assist in the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operational Dashboards and other Modeling tools.
- Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
- Quarterly and Monthly Financial reporting
- ROI calculations on capital expenditures, new product offerings, and new locations
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
- Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
- Support the Accounting team during month end close
- Support in the creation and updating of monthly Board of Directors financial reports
- Support Senior Management Team and Department heads with Management Discussion and Analysis, including preparation of Board presentations
- Assist in financial due diligence of acquisitions
- Prepare presentations for the Management Team
- Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven work experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or similar role
- Experience using data analytics software
- Ability to learn quickly, problem solve, and remain composed to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a high pace environment
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook and other financial software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain supportive relationships with team members inside and out of the organization
- Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail
- Self-motivated; capable of taking initiative, successfully handling, and prioritizing multiple competing assignments and hitting deadlines
- Ability to think critically and look for alternative solutions to problems
- A passion for success, a positive and friendly attitude, and a strong work ethic
- Occasional travel to Washington and other potential locations (up to 15%)

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting required
- 3-5 years of experience in Finance preferred
- Excellent interpersonal relations and communication skills
- Experience coordinating multiple marketing projects under strict deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced culture with a demonstrated ability to achieve results in a with multiple companies in multiple location/states including Colorado and Washington
- Demonstrated excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload efficiently
- Ability to work independently
- Pass pre-employment and reasonable suspicion drug screens
