A Senior Geotechnical Engineer position is available in the Underground Engineering department at our Goldrush operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing work that involves visual inspections of underground mining activities to identify rock hazards, provide recommendations, and monitor excavation performance.
The ideal candidate should have a degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or Geology, with 5-7 years of experience in geotechnical design work, rock mass classification systems, and geotechnical analysis. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are also required.
